My son has been attending Aqua Skills swimming lessons for more than 2 years (from the age of 4). He has loved his lessons and has become a happy and competent swimmer. When he first started, he was nervous getting into the pool without a member of the family but quickly he became confident and happy within the group. The group sizes are kept small and each child receives individual attention to help them progress quickly. Due to it being a family run business, the children become familiar with all the instructors, reducing nerves when they move up a level. As a parent I can not recommend Aqua Skills highly enough, as not only do they teach very well, get fast results but they make each lesson fun and varied which the children love.

I have watched my four boys progress from non swimmers to accomplished, competent, medal and trophy winning swimmers. I thoroughly recommend aqua-skills

My eldest daughter joined Aquaskills aged 3 and is a competent swimmer now aged 6. The youngest aged 4 is now also learning with Aquaskills and i have no doubt she will achieve as much as her sister has. Steve and his family importantly ensure children understand the concept of learning, but at the same time make it enjoyable, allowing each child to develop at their own pace. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aquaskills to anyone looking for the right place for their children to learn to swim.

Both of my boys started swimming with aqua-skills, from the very beginners level. Started off with Sarah who is is very kind & caring with the babies and knows very well how to get the little ones to swim. Over the last 3 years, both the boys moved on to the higher levels - 6 & 10 - and they are with Martin, who has been another great teacher of the bigger boys. He is very involved, pays a lot of attention to the techniques of each student individually and also helps students to prepare effectively for competitive swimming. This is swimming school run by a very close knit family. We are grateful that not only our children have great teachers, we have come across a beautiful family as well.

Aquaskills has been fantastic for our son. He was first taught to swim properly as a 5 year old by Steve and then developed by Martin into a really competent Club swimmer, having attained numerous swimming and competition stage certificates along the way. The quality of teaching is excellent, it really works as a family run business and, perhaps best of all, our son has had the best time learning. I unreservedly wholly recommend Aquaskills.
